The International Road Federation (IRF) is a global not-for-profit organization, headquartered in Washington, DC since 1948 and supported by regional offices throughout the world.
The IRF serves a network of public and private sector members in more than 70 countries by providing world-class knowledge resources, advocacy services, and continuing education programs which together offer a global marketplace for best practices and industry solutions. JARA has been a member of IRF since 1954.
IRF Fellowship Program
The IRF Fellowship Program for graduate students of engineering and transportation policy has been a cornerstone in the work of the IRF since its foundation in 1949.
Since 1954, JARA has contributed to the IRF Fellowship Program and has played a significant part in fostering of distinguished road engineers on the global stage, through the IRF Fellowship Program. So far, more than 90 students have participated in the Fellowship Program from Japan.
